# Your CRM can be clean and still be wrong. The problem is Semantic Debt.

Complete data does not guarantee shared meaning. RevOpsHubs uses **Semantic Debt** for the accumulated gap between what a concept should mean in the Revenue System and the meanings people, fields, automations and agents actually assign to it.

## Five dimensions

- Definition: can we complete “this means that…”?
- Evidence: do we know this is true when…?
- Ownership: who controls the meaning?
- Transition Logic: when does the state enter, exit or regress?
- Source of Truth: where does the authoritative decision live?

## Why AI makes it more expensive

Humans compensate for ambiguity with informal context. Agents inherit the context the system exposes. The more autonomy an agent receives, the more expensive unstable meaning becomes.

> Dirty data creates weak decisions. Semantic Debt creates confident decisions about a badly defined reality.

## What to do Monday

Pick one important decision and the 3–5 fields supporting it. Define meaning, evidence, ownership, transition logic and one source of truth. If two teams produce different answers, you have semantic debt even when every field is populated.
